Summary
Under the direction of the Community Services Administrator, the Coordinator will administer the Community Health Worker Grant by performing work related to facilitating community efforts to ensure equitable long-term planning that will address behavioral health outcomes while maintaining compliance with the grant agreement.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Minimum Qualifications -
Associates Degree in Business Administration, Health Sciences, Social Work, or related field preferred.
Work experience in similar field and college education can be considered equivalent.
Community Health Worker certification preferred.
Must be able to understand, communicate, read and write in English.
Bi-lingual preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively in private and public settings with large and small groups of people.
Strong communication, organizational, computer and writing skills.
Must be 18 years of age.
Valid NM Driver"s License.
No DWI conviction within the past three (3) years and no felony convictions.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
Proficient writing skills.
Background and/or education relating to Writing preferred.
Knowledge of office procedures, use of a personal computer and office machines listed below.
Skill in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to work independent of daily supervision and to exercise sound judgment and thinking.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with County staff and the general public.
Ability to perform all essential duties as listed below.
Ability to perform the essential duties in the working conditions described below.
Ability to work with the equipment, tools and materials listed below.
Ability to travel, including traveling out of town and/or overnight.
Must comply with safety guidelines and policies of the County.
