Rate of Pay: MIN $43,552 - MID $53,372 Position Type: Full-Time Status: Until Filled Summary Under the direction of the Community Services Administrator or in his/her absence, the County Manager, provides strategic leadership, management, organization, direction, and supervision of all operations and activities of the County’s DWI Program.
Demonstrates strong ethical, professional, and service oriented leadership.
Responsible for coordinating, planning, implementing, and training.
Oversees the performance management and morale of the Department staff.
Exercises independent judgment and discretion; develops plans and administers the program budget; monitors all DWI Grant activities; provides evaluation of project progress and impact: supervises staff and contractors.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum Qualifications for Community Programs Manager for DWI - •Associates Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice or a related field required.
Work experience in similar field and college education can be considered equivalent.
•Two years supervisory experience preferred; significant experience/education in a related field can be considered equivalent.
•Ability to obtain Certified Prevention Specialist within two years of hire, if not already certified.
•Must have experience in financial management to include: budget development, implementations, oversight and expense forecasting.
•Strong writing and oral communication skills.
•Strong organizational skills, including ability to set up and maintain program monitoring systems.
•Ability to communicate effectively in private and public settings with large and small groups of people.
•Bi-lingual in English and Spanish helpful.
•Experience working with City, County and/or State Government preferred.
•Ability to interact professionally with supervisor, subordinates and other co-workers.
•Ability to work independently of daily supervision and to exercise discretionary judgment and thinking.
•Valid NM Driver’s License.
No DWI conviction within the past three (3) years.
•Ability to perform all essential duties as listed below.
•Ability to perform the essential duties in the working conditions described below.
•Ability to work with the equipment, tools and materials listed below.
•Must comply with safety guidelines and policies of the County.

79% each pay period into the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) Curry County pays 80% of medical premiums.
