Rate of Pay: MIN $43,552 - MID $53,372 Status: Until Filled Summary To provide direction and oversight to the Foster Grandparent and Retired Senior Volunteer Programs, including, but not limited to resources development, planning, promoting, implementing, objectives, strategic planning, program development, fiscal management, promotional activities, staff supervision, volunteer recruitment and management coordination with agency and community resources.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum Qualifications for Community Programs Manager for FGP/RSVP - • Bachelor’s Degree in business, social work, psychology, or related field.
2-4 years’ experience in similar field may be considered for substitution for education.
• Ability to communicate effectively in private and public settings with large and small groups of people.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing and be able to read and write in English, bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Some education or experience in budgets, accounting or finance required.
Previous grant writing strongly preferred but all relative experience will be considered.
• Strong organization skills, including ability to set up and maintain program monitoring systems.
• Experience working with City, County and/or State Government or Senior Programs preferred but all relative experience will be considered.
• Must have excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interact professionally with supervisor, subordinates and other co-workers.
• Ability to work independently of daily supervision and to exercise discretionary judgment and thinking.
• Must be able to attend and complete all mandatory required training and/or conferences.
Must be able to travel for completion of the mandatory trainings and/or conferences.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, pre-employment screening and background check.
• Must successfully pass Truescreen, Fingerprint, and State background check as required by the grant, Americorps Seniors, and municipal schools.
• Valid NM Driver’s License.
No DWI conviction within the past three (3) years.
• Ability to perform all essential duties as listed on the job description.
• Ability to perform the essential duties in the working conditions described on the job description.
• Ability to work with the equipment, tools and materials listed on the job description.
• Must comply with safety guidelines and policies of the County.

79% each pay period into the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) Curry County pays 80% of medical premiums.
